Drones Meet 3D-AI: Multi-Drone Collaboration for 3D Reconstruction

Invited online talk to the Emerging Technology Division at AstraZeneca India, covering the same material as the Tokyo AI × Drones session: how online 3D reconstruction changes what a drone team should do while it is still flying.

Classical coverage control plans a sweep and executes it. Once reconstruction runs in real time, the map becomes a signal the controller can act on — which regions are converging, which remain ambiguous, and where an additional viewing angle is worth the flight time.
